Miracle Working God

The sun had barely risen when Sarah made her decision. For years, she had carried her burden silently, letting the whispers and glances of others shape her reality. But today was different. Today, she chose her own miracle.

Determine What You Want Him to Do for You

Like the blind man on the road to Jericho, she heard the question echo in her heart: "What do you want me to do for you?" It was a simple question with weight. So many had come before her, asking for small mercies, temporary reliefs and so on. But Sarah knew that when you stand before a God, you must dream bigger than your fears.

She wanted more than just healing for her failing business, she wanted restoration, moment of peace. She wanted transformation. In the quiet of her prayer room, she wrote down her heart’s deepest desires, not just for herself but for generations to come.

Do Not Let Them Mock You Before You Decide

The critics came, as they always did. "Be realistic," they said. "Those kinds of miracles don't happen anymore." Her own sister had laughed when Sarah shared her vision of building a sanctuary for abandoned children. "With what money?" they asked. "With what experience?"

But Sarah had learned a valuable lesson: mockers come before the miracle, doubt precedes the breakthrough. Like Noah building an ark before a drop of rain fell, she held onto her vision. She remembered how they had mocked the woman with the alabaster jar, pouring out her precious perfume. Yet history remembered her act of faith, not their words of scorn.

Your Choice Determines Your Miracle and What Is to Come

In the months that followed, Sarah discovered that miracles weren't just about the outcome, they were about the choices made in our own decision. Each time she chose faith over fear, another piece of the puzzle fell into place. A generous donor appeared unexpectedly. A property became available at exactly the right price. Former critics became committed volunteers.

She realized that God wasn't just answering her prayers; He was validating her choices. Every time she chose to believe instead of doubt, to persist instead of retreat, she was participating in her own miracle. The breakthrough wasn't just coming, she was helping to build it, choice by choice, day by day decision.

Have Faith in Your Determination

The sanctuary opened its doors one year later, but the real miracle wasn't just in the building. It was in the lives of the children who found hope within its walls and in Sarah herself. Her determination had become a testimony, her faith a foundation for others.

She realizes that faith wasn't just about believing in the impossible; it was about staying determined when the impossible seemed to take its time arriving. Like the persistent widow who wouldn't take no for an answer, Sarah's determination had become a form of worship.

Looking back, she realized that God hadn’t just given her what she asked for, but had given her something greater. He had shown her that she wasn’t just a recipient of miracles; she was a participant. Her choices, her determination, and her unchangeable faith had become the very channels through which His power flowed.

And so her story became more than just a testimony of what God had done; it became an invitation to others to dream and think bigger, believe, and stay determined in their own journey with God who still answers prayers today.

As the year drew to a close, Sarah sat in her office at the sanctuary, watching children play in the courtyard below. She smiled, remembering the words that had started it all: "What do you want me to do for you?" The answer had shaped not just her year, but her entire destiny. And she knew, deep in her heart, that this was just the beginning.
